Shake well before use. Sediment is natural.

Willowy wooded canes reach skyward from the banks of the sun-glinted creek. Jade leaves spread like fingers and palms extended, in equal measure of acceptance and offering. The wild elder, branch tips bowed with midnight-dark berries, has proffered its fruit for infusions of garnet richness.

Ginger’s slender stems and leaves stretch into the near-tropical heat of a summer greenhouse. Tender crown-like root lobes burrow and expand through the soil until mid autumn when they are gently dug. We process these Maine-grown roots fresh from a human-powered and organic certified farm.

When to reach for Elderberry & Ginger:

This blend is excellent as a daily immune support tonic as well as an ally for acute illness, especially viral concerns. Elderberries are considered an immune tonic as they offer nourishment and restorative strength to the body’s defenses. They also help vitalize the immune response when the need emerges. These deeply pigmented berries are rich in vitamins, are blood building and, along with Ginger root, are considered antioxidant. This property aids in lessening inflammatory damage to the cells throughout the body.  Elderberries also support the respiratory tract through their cooling and inflammation modulating qualities as well as supporting the mucous membranes. *

Some studies suggest that the pungent nature of Ginger helps increase the bioavailability of constituents in other herbal preparations when paired together. Ginger is the foremost herbal resource of alleviating nausea. This stimulating and warming root is considered to be inflammation modulating, antioxidant, and antimicrobial. Ginger supports healthy digestion, circulation and vasculature. The grounding nature of this root can help relieve symptoms of wind, including muscle spasm and cramping. *
