This variety is adapted to grow in a variety of climates, especially cooler climates like here in Maine. Temperate Tulsi is vigorous for a long season and wonderfully enjoyable to grow. Tulsi is an excellent tea herb; it is sweet, aromatic, and grounding. Trim flowering tops and upper leaf sections at least once a week to encourage continued growth all season long. Enjoy leaves and flowers fresh or dried as a tea, in lemonade, as a garnish for fresh fruit, or infused as a simple syrup.
